Analytics Solver Excel Add-on

Using Analytic Solver Platform on Excel within the Pamplin Virtual Computer Lab

1. Connect to the VCL so you can see the desktop
2. Click on the start button in the bottom-left corner, and scroll down the program list until you find a folder labeled “Frontline Systems.” Click on it to expand it.
3. Click on the first option, “ASP Application Manager”.
4. Click on the top button, “Register RSP Excel Add-in”.
5. Click OK to dismiss the dialog box.
6. Click on the start button again, and type “Excel” to open it.
7. Upon opening a blank worksheet, the tabs for Analytic Solver Platform should register within Excel. Click on the “Analytic Solver” tab to get started.
8. After clicking on the tab, it may ask you for a login. Input your credentials used to purchase solver, and click Sign In. Analytic Solver Platform should now be activated and ready for use.

Note: You will need to purchase a license for Analytic Solver Platform in order to use the software within Excel on the VCL.
