As the summer comes to an end, let's take a moment to reflect on the accomplishments that have shaped these past few months. The Pamplin IT team has been working hard all summer behind the scenes to ensure we have another successful year. This Fall will be full of transitions. Transitions to new space and the end of low-cost cloud storage.
The new Data and Decision Sciences building is ready to welcome students into the classrooms. Approximately 25 faculty moved into the new space over the summer and the Pamplin IT team has been busy assisting with the shuffling (over 60 moves between D&DS and Pamplin Hall). There is also an updated behavioral lab which will allow our researchers to gather better data points. If you teach in that building, please familiarize yourself with the technology in the classrooms.
We have been developing processes to ensure a smooth transition from Google storage to other cloud sources. We will need your help making some of these shifts over the fall semester. Our team is prepared to assist with this massive undertaking. We will be communicating more targeted information about that transition in the upcoming weeks that will require some action items.
Good luck during these next two weeks prior to classes starting. Our office is open if you need anything. You can put in a request at http://pamplin.help.

Crafted to seamlessly integrate your unique text, each link tells a story of its own, but stays branded Pamplin. Through our interface you can create, update, and view all your shortened URLs.
From its inception to the present day, our service has curated an extensive network of over 2,250 redirects, fueling more than 300,000 interactions.
