Endpoint management plays a crucial role in ensuring IT security within an organization. With the increasing number of devices connected to networks, including computers, laptops, mobile devices, and IoT devices, the attack surface for potential threats has expanded significantly. Endpoint management helps address these challenges by providing centralized control and monitoring of all endpoints, regardless of their location or operating system.

Pamplin IT is working to manage your computer from behind the scenes. We are conitnuing to push out updates each week to ensure your computers start up-to-date on security and feature patches.

Within the College of Business, we are using a few programs to update your machine. The one you will potentially see prompts from is called BigFix. If you see a message similar to the one below, please take that action. Rebooting allows your computer to properly install some required updates.
