Class of 2019

All undergraduate students in the Pamplin College of Business are expected to have a laptop or tablet. Tablets are acceptable as they have capabilities beyond a normal laptop and offer excellent in-class note taking and searching utilities.

Any Laptop or Tablet Computer

  • Intel Core i5 Generation 4 U or M (or better) processor
  • Memory – 8 GB Ram (or more)
  • 250 GB Hard Drive (Solid State)
  • 802.11a/g/n Wireless NIC

Additional Recommendations

  • 16 GB (or more) USB Flash Drive
  • Inkjet or Laser Printer
  • Warranty – 3 years parts and labor on-site.
    4 years is preferred if available.

Windows is Required on Apple Computers

If you have an Apple computer, you will need Windows OS installed for certain business software. This can be done via Parallels, VMWare, or Bootcamp.
